As a Strategic Services Analyst, Kirby works to develop sustainable business models for organizations operating at the intersection of higher education and technology.  Prior to joining Ithaka, Kirby led the design of a website and online strategy for Prepare the Future, a start-up education advocacy project.  She also has taught humanities courses at the American School of São Paulo, Brazil.  Kirby holds a BA in English from Yale University, where she served as an executive editor of The Insider’s Guide to the Colleges, and as the president and general manager of the Yale Broadcasting Corporation.  She is conversational in Portuguese and Spanish.
