Discipline Studies
Over several years, we completed a series of studies for JSTOR examining scholarly communication practices in various disciplines including history, economics, biosciences, and education. The goals of this work were to understand how research is conducted and disseminated in the disciplines, and to identify the importance of different scholarly resources. We have elected to share edited versions of these studies as the research presented here may be of interest to others in our community or beyond.
