Mary Rose Muccie joined ITHAKA in October 2009 to lead the new Current Journals Program. Ms. Muccie previously served as director of Project MUSE, where she oversaw technology development, production, sales and marketing, collection development, and finance for MUSE’s journal collections in the humanities and social sciences. Before her work with MUSE, Ms. Muccie served for 13 years at the Society for Industrial and Applied Mathematics, most recently as publisher, running all aspects of the journal and book programs. She began her publishing career at J.B. Lippincott (now Lippincott Williams & Wilkins), where she spent seven years in journal and book editorial production. Mary Rose holds a bachelor of arts in English from the University of Pennsylvania.
